AI Search Consent

AI Search helps you find places and receive personalized suggestions. You choose whether to enable it.

Information we share

When enabled, PinPop sends OpenAI the information relevant to your search or suggestions. This may include:

• Your questions, attached images, and AI conversation history.
• Your precise location, address, and local date and time.
• Saved preferences, AI memory, bookmarked places, and journeys relevant to the request.

With AI Search and Location Sharing enabled, PinPop also records visited areas and visit times, including in the background when iOS permits. We send relevant visit history to OpenAI to learn familiar places, routines, and preferences and personalize suggestions even when no AI conversation is open. Your visit history and learned profile are not shown to other users.

When web research is needed, relevant search terms and context may also be sent to Perplexity. Your private chats are not automatically included.

Your choice

Selecting Allow AI Search or Allow and Continue authorizes this processing. You can use PinPop without enabling AI Search and turn it off at any time in Settings → Consent → AI Search.

Turning it off stops new AI searches and background personalization. It does not delete existing conversations, saved AI memory, visit history, learned preferences, or information already processed by our providers.

Our Privacy Policy explains storage, retention, service providers, and your privacy rights.
